About Us

Hi, I’m So Glad You’re Here

Let me start by saying this: if you’re reading this while hiding in the bathroom for five minutes of peace, bouncing a fussy baby, or wearing yesterday’s messy bun—I see you. I’ve been there. Actually, I still am there most days.

My Story

I’m a stay-at-home mom to one incredible little girl (so far!), and she is absolutely the light of my life. The best thing that ever happened to me. But here’s the truth they don’t always tell you: even when you love your baby more than anything in the world, being a new mom can be really, really hard.

When my daughter was born, I thought I’d feel nothing but joy and fulfillment. Instead, I found myself battling postpartum depression and anxiety. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of diapers, sleepless nights, and endless worry. I felt under appreciated. Alone. Not good enough. And perhaps most heartbreaking of all—I felt like I’d lost myself completely along the way.

The woman who used to take pride in her appearance, who had hobbies and interests and a sense of identity? She seemed to have vanished, replaced by someone I barely recognized in the mirror. Someone who lived in milk-stained shirts and survival mode.

The Turning Point

But here’s where the story gets better, mama. Because I didn’t stay in that dark place.

Through a lot of hard work, self-reflection, and finding the right support, I’ve come such a long way. I’ve changed my outlook, shifted my perspective, and completely transformed my experience as a mom. Today, I feel happy and accomplished—not just in motherhood, but in my marriage and in myself as a person.

I didn’t lose myself after all. I evolved. I became this new version of me, and you know what? I actually like her.

Why Happy Mama Habits?

This blog was born from my journey and my deep desire to help other moms who might be where I was. Because you shouldn’t have to figure this out alone. You shouldn’t have to lose yourself to be a good mother. And you absolutely deserve to feel beautiful, confident, and like you again—or like this new, even better version of you.

Happy Mama Habits is my way of sharing all the tips, tricks, and habits that helped me not just survive, but truly thrive. This is a space where we talk about real self-care (not just bubble baths, though those are nice too). Where we share honest product reviews for busy moms. Where we celebrate the wins, acknowledge the struggles, and lift each other up.

What You’ll Find Here

I’m here to share:

- Practical beauty and self-care tips that actually work for the chaos of mom life

- Honest reviews of products that can make your day a little easier

- Real stories from the trenches of motherhood

- Strategies that helped me overcome postpartum depression and anxiety

- Ways to nurture your marriage while raising tiny humans

- Daily habits that transformed my mental health and outlook

- Uplifting reminders that you’re doing better than you think

But more than anything, I want to build a community. A place where we can be honest about the hard parts while celebrating the beautiful parts. Where we can share what works, laugh about what doesn’t, and remind each other that we’re not alone in this

You’re Not Alone

If you’re struggling right now, please know this: you are not alone, and what you’re feeling is valid. It doesn’t make you a bad mom. It doesn’t mean you love your baby any less. It just means you’re human, and this journey is harder than anyone warned us about.

But it can get better. You can feel better. I’m living proof of that.

So whether you stumbled across this blog at 3 AM during a feeding, or you’re stealing a few minutes during naptime, I’m so grateful you’re here. Grab your coffee (reheated for the third time, I know), get comfortable, and let’s navigate this beautiful, messy, incredible journey of motherhood together.

You deserve to feel like yourself again. You deserve to feel beautiful. And you absolutely deserve to thrive, not just survive.

Welcome to Happy Mama Habits. I’m so glad we found each other.

With love and solidarity,

Your fellow mama in the trenches 💕
